Paul Roland "is a counselor and teacher of meditation... (and a) freelance writer," who is the author of books such as How to Meditate: An Illustrated Guide to Calming the Mind and Relaxing the Body, Explore Your Past Lives, How Psychic Are You?: Understand and Develop Your Natural Ability (Pyramid Paperback), etc.

He wrote in the Introduction to this attractively-illustrated 2000 book, "This book aims to dispel many of the myths and misconceptions shrouding these alternative practices and the principles which they embody...
