...Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book. Some of it disturbed me, and much of it surprised me. The Aztec alternate history story, in particular, sticks with me. If you are interested in religion(s) and sci-fi/fantasy, and have an open mind on religious fiction, you will most probably find this a good read.Don
