5.0 out of 5 stars The best for Less
NAP Spitfire broadheads are the best value on the market. They can be trusted to do the job. Would not think of using anything else

1.0 out of 5 stars Wounded deer
I bought these on amazon. Here comes the big buck with miles of antlers. 20 yds. Ten point x-bow--lots of speed. Perfect sight picture. Pull the trigger. My shock as the arrow did not penetrate and is handing at a 45 degree angle downward. It would have been a heart shot--but. The blades must not have opened evenly or one blade opened and hung up on a rib. They...

The sharpest and most lethal mechanical broadhead on the market. I've shot these for over 6 years on various big game with great success. Great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE EM, October 5, 2011
I cant speak for the other two bad reviews about these broadheads but i have killed 6 deer in the past two season with the spitfires. Ive killed deer at all angles. form a blind from a treestand and everytime they create udder destruction on the deers internals. Maybe the other guys just need to practice more and hit the deer where it counts.its all i shoot now. flies just like a field point. 1 thing to remind people is you have to keep dirt and grime out of the razor channels or else they have a hard time opening.just don't jam them into the ground and expect them to open as if they were new.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best I've found, February 27, 2011

I've been shooting Spitfire broadheads for 3 years, taking multiple deer per year with both crossbow and compound, and they're the best I've found. In three years, I've only had one deer go more than 75 yards after being shot...and that one only made it about 200 yards. I've used many other mechanical and fixed blade broadheads over the years, but none of them came close to performing as well as the Spitfire.

5.0 out of 5 stars These are the best mechanical broadheads I've used, January 29, 2012

The order was received in a timely manor with no problems. I've used these broadheads for the past three years and have killed five deer with them. They perform very well and even shoot accurately through mesh window coverings in blinds. They are the sharpest broadheads I've ever seen too and hold an edge even after repeated shootings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deadly broadheads, December 8, 2011

These are the best I have used so far. The only way I can discribe them is DEADLY! I have been fortunate to get good shots on 4 deer this year and none went more than 30 or so yards. These are the only broadheads I want to use. Love them.

They do fly like field points--great accuracy. I am done with mechanical broad heads. Don't need wounded deer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Spitfire are not good for deer bone and compound bows., November 13, 2010
These broadheads suck. for killing deer with a compound bow. They might be ok for crossbow use. But at close to 300 fps they don't have penetration I lost a monster of a buck today (would have been my first buck ever in 21 years of hunting 3rd deer total) because of poor penetration of rib bones. The arrow should have went clean through or at least penetrated farther than 3-4 inches (if it was even that far) I had blood at from tip of head up the shaft max of 5" and the arrow fell out 20 yards after the hit. Had no blood trail except 4 drops on 2 leaves about 3 yards apart. We searched for a needle in the haystack for hours and never found it.

Actually that is the second one I've lost thanks to this terrible product for deer and compound bows. The first one was a hit at the front shoulder joint and didn't do any penetration and fell out at the spot of the shot. Trailed that one for 1000's of yards. Was shot later in the season with a rifle. Just glad it survived OK till then.

Hope this monster heals up like the first one.

The broadheads do fly just like my field tips which is why I started using them but I think I'm scarred from mechanicals now and will never go back.
