I shot thunderheads for years until I ran into some irregularity with the way they were flying. So I bought these heads and they fly great all the way out to 50 yards. Problem is, I haven't shot a deer with them yet, so I can only rate the way they fly. But I've shot trophy elk and whitetails and I can assure you that a good hit with any fixed blade broadhead will do the trick. The key is getting them to fly absolutely perfect - and these Nitrons seem to have that.
