Oldie but a goodie,

This review is from: New Archery Products Thunderhead 60-114 Broadheads (Sports)
Whoever tells you this arrowhead is not top notch is plain wrong. Most of the new arrowheads have wizz-bang moving parts, and you will not see them bring down deer as easily as this bad boy.So you can go with the tried and true, thunderhead (like how I used all T words :)

Solid Performance, Great Flight,

This review is from: New Archery Products Thunderhead 60-114 Broadheads (Sports)
I've used Thunderheads bowhunting for the better part of 10 years. While fanicer, shinier products have come onto the market, I have never switched as my Thunderheads have never given me a reason to.The flight is consistent out to at least 50 yards (I don't practice at any greater distance), easily holding a 3 inch group (a lot of this is in the bow... so if your groups aren't as tight, don't blame the broadhead!). I've harvested a number of animals with my Thunderheads (including a Pope and Young blackbear), more often than not the arrow goes completely through and leaves a good trail... although I can't really think of any that ran more than 50 yards, so you almost don't need a trail to follow at that point! Also, I've buried a broadhead or two into tree stumps, and while I replaced the blades, the broadhead was still in perfect shape. Really, there's no need to buy any fancy, gizmo-laden broadheads when you get such a great performance from the thunderheads using such a simple design. Moral of the story is that they are good broadheads. Keep the blades sharp and they won't let you down.

Pig Sticker,

I shot two pigs this past year using 125 grain Thunderhead broadheads. The pigs weighed 155 & 170 pounds and the bolt (from my crossbow) went straight thru them at 30 yards. The bolts didn't even slow down as they stuck in the ground on the other side of them. One blade on one broadhead was slightly bent so I replace it and am still using the same broadheads today. They work absolutely great. I would highly recommend these broadheads to anyone using archery/crossbows.
