Fabulous Indie Music Benefits Eating Disorder Recovery - NEDA, November 13, 2008

MPress Records has compiled an impressive and eclectic mix of independent artists now emerging in the music industry. The music is a spirited introduction to each artist. The songs really rock and there is none on the CD that is less than fantastic. The tunes are engaging: catchy, insightful, moody at times, and overall full of life and artistry. Rachael Sage, founder of MPress, offers "Angel in My View," which is from her recently released eighth solo album, the romantic
Chandelier, and there is a gutsy bonus track by Glen Phillips, "Space Elevator".
I have enjoyed Mpress's previous 2 "New Arrivals" and like those before, the proceeds from the retail sales go to charity. I am especially pleased to see that 100% of the proceeds from "New Arrivals Volume Three" go to the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) to help bring about eating disorders awareness and to fight against underlying causes of eating disorders in contemporary society. This cause is certainly timely and worthy and it affects me personally. The subtitle states "Artists for Eating Disorders" Awareness".
I highly recommend this CD. You won't be disappointed!
