Long before Little Big League, a professor is walking along, grousing about the baseball team he loves - and he ends up owning it. The story of how this happens and what craziness ensues is a far better story than expected. The odd thing was that a few years earlier, The Last Man is Out came out with a different author's name (Marvin Karlins) but almost word-for-word story! Well, it turns out that Robert Browne is a pen name for a story with minimal change, except for the ending, really. The original is far better!
