A great read,

Marvel superheroes and Transformers? What a an awesome combination. The comic was well drawn and the flow of the speech and action panels was easy to follow. Printed on quality paper and reasonably priced, this comic is definitely worth buying and collecting.

The best crossover ever.,

I tend to disagree with the first reviewer. I love this book and I think that it was cleverly written and its one of the best crossovers besides the GI Joe/Transformers crossover.

I haven't written a lot of reviews on amazon and I feel that this book is so horrible that it doesn't merit me spending a lot of time on it. However, I do loathe this book passionately enough to post a warning. If you're a fan of Transformers, The Avengers, comics, robots, super heroes or coherent storytelling then this is not a book for you. Clearly the book was meant to cash in on the summer 2007 big movie blockbusters "Spider-man 3" and "Transformers" and that was about all the thought that was put into it. Really terrible. Steer clear. Well i've spent more time writing this than the book is worth.

New Avengers/Transformers
the idea is great, seriously. i think what killed it most, was the anticipation. somehow, i was certain that there's no way to fumble such a solid base for a story. basically, the other reviews some it up, it's short, there are way too many characters, most of which are quite duo-dimensional, there are no surprises whatsoever. on the upside, the art is great (i'm a sucker for good art) and the price was reasonable enough.

Avengers/Transformers is a good graphic novel. The artwork is drawn by Tyler Kirkham and story is written by Stuwart Moore. The story is about how the G1 Transformers meet the New Avengers. This book I think takes place in the IDW publishing Continuity with Transformers Infiltration and Transformers: Escalation. I think story takes place in the Marvel comics continuity as well, but this was before the death of Captain America. I like the book but's too short. It only tells me that today's comics have more advertisements and have less pages with story and art. That's too bad.

To short story,

The art is really awesome, but the story is to simple and short that leaves you with nothing, and they tried to introduce to many characters, it is a shame.

This was absolutely horrible. The Artwork was not the best and neither was the story. There were some parts where Optimus looks completely awkward with one shoulder out of place than the other. There was also a mistake where Ratchet and Prowl's names were wrong and Bumblebee and Jazz as well. Overall this was really bad and not worth purchasing.
