"We chose a Snugride 35 but we'd probably go back and choose a smaller one. The 35 is huge and baby can stay in it longer, but by the time baby becomes 15 lbs or so, the weight of the baby + huge carseat makes it REALLY tough to carry around. Although it's convenient to not have to transfer from carseat to stroller when baby is asleep."
"I would recommend using this stroller frame plus carseat as your first stroller, and go stroller shopping when baby is about 6 months old and you have a better understanding of what you want in a stroller. You don't want to purchase a pricey stroller pre-baby only to realize it doesn't meet your needs (or it's way too fancy and you shouldn't have spent your money)!"
"LOVE this tub... still use it well past 6 months. We love that the back is sloped so when baby flops backward, he doesn't go into the water. Also comes with a cute toy and the tub itself is very very cute."
"We chose this humidifier because it doesn't put out liquidy mist that soaks everything, and it's nice and loud so we use it as white noise as well. Baby has slept with it every night since he was born and we love it. Filters are pricey though, but we consider it well worth it."
"We've used these bottles and nothing else and never had any problems. Plus it's nice to never have to wash bottles-- only nipples, and if you stock up on lots of them, you can go several days without having to wash anything."
"Baby was very dependent on pacifiers to soothe, and this was his favorite (even over the soothers from the hospital). He dropped it on his own around 6 months but til then we had one of these in every room, every bag, car, etc."
"We absolutely love this monitor. We chose it over the slimmer, digital monitors because we didn't want the signal to interfere with our wireless internet. This monitor uses 900mHz signal, which is what cordless phones use. There's some interference sometimes, but usually you can move it to an area where there's less static. It uses night vision so you can see baby at all hours."
"We had a different brand that's been discontinued, but a Pack n Play is absolutely vital in the first six months. We used it as a bassinet when he was in our room in the beginning, and the changing table as well. After he moved to the crib we used it as a playyard, and we take it with us as a travel crib."
"Baby loved to be upright from a very young age, so we used the Exersaucer daily and he LOVED it. Still does, even as he's growing out of it! All of the little toys are very entertaining to them and you can snap in new ones if they get tired of them."
"This is a fantastic mobile... there is a projection light that totally mesmerizes baby, and three different sounds-- music, rainforest, and heart/womb. Big bright buttons so eventually baby can turn it on themselves."
"Baby was VERY comforted by swaddling but VERY big and strong, so he was swaddled in the Miracle Blanket pretty much 24/7 for a good month or two. We got two, so when one got soiled we had another on hand."
"Awesome for teaching baby to sit up... as well as a great place to put baby. The best part is the toy that comes with it! We chose this over the Bumbo because baby's chunky legs didn't fit in the Bumbo!"
