i have owned several pairs of new balance and never had them start to frey at the toe line soooooo fast, maybe thats why they were only $60 as opposed to $120, i will probably wear till the fall apart doing yard work or whatever

after 3 days of use they started to fray on the sides.. doesn't help that the place that sold them would do anything for me.. i don't suggest buying these or from this store.. very upset

I've bought many pairs of New Balance in the same size and width that I ordered these in, but in this case I'm very disappointed in the sizing. The toe box feels very cramped and the shoes are not comfortable at all.

For the price I paid, they are a major disappointment.

Well the reviews were right these shoes are made very cheaply. Within one week the areas of stitching near the toes started to fray. There is also a huge discoloration where this is happening. I used these shoes for normal everyday use, no hiking. I would imagine if I were to take them hiking they would only begin to fall apart at an accelerated rate.

On a positive note they are unique and seem to be comfortable. I am just very displeased at the stitching coming undone.

As a long time New Balance guy because of an extra wide foot I hate to say the quality on these is horrible. I'll stick with the 646 until they make a quality gore-tex shoe.

Worn once, orange mesh started fraying near the big toe joint at the foot.

One month later there are 5 or 6 frays to the point there are small holes and now no longer waterproof since the fray leaves a small hole.

I don't know what these guys on here are talking about as far as the shoe fitting differently. I have always worn the 10 EEEE. These fit as perfectly as any shoe I have ever worn. They are the best of both worlds; No shoe laces to tie, but a shoe that fits nice. Assuming they hold up, they are my favorite NB shoes I have ever bought. Very Happy with them.

These are the worst pair of new balance shoes I have ever owned. I ordered 4E but they are still pretty narrow...also, the sole is uncomfortable and the mesh had holes within 1 week. I do not recommend these shoes.

New Balance brand are my favorite. I had many New Balance Shoes. The MO1320 is the best Hiking Shoe I ever had. They fitted me well, shoe lace system work so well, its a must have for my future shoes.

I hiking for 5 hours, over 10 miles, had no problem. Its just the Best.

Those are really uncomfortable. The cushion is hard and the feeling of hardness doesn't disappear after using them for a while. Of course forget them for running...

In japan, I saw differnt color, navy, lime, or cobalt. [...]As to the function of the shoes, I'm satisfied. Gore tex is good for walkin eg. on the wet grass of early morning. I think the width of my foot is a little smaller "2E", then it fits for me.
