I got these to replace a trashed pair of 1063's. They improve over the 1063's in several areas, although there is one spot where they are not as good.

Durability and style are much better, as is traction. I've put these sneakers through more of a beating than the previous pair went through, and they are taking it quite well. Since the upper is less mesh and more solid construction, however, breathability is a tiny bit less perfect.

The New Balance Men's MT812 Shoe (Color: Gray with Navy & Yellow) looks very good. I like the style but it did not seem as comfortable as some other New Balance Shoes that I have gotten in the past. It's expensive but it offered no spring or protection for your tired feet. After a few months wear I got used to them more but again, something is missing that makes them truly comfortable.

The shoe looks good and feels comfortable, as most New Balance shoes do. However, the fit was a bit off. It seems as if the sizing has grown slightly as this shoe was just a bit too large for me. I compared this shoe with my same size old New Balance (although different make) by putting the soles of the shoes together and this one was alot larger -- just enough to make me trip or fall.

You may want to try this one one before buying or be prepared to return it.

All in all this is a good shoe for trail running.

These shoes are Well worth every penny. plan to buy some more soon.

It craddels your foot in comfort all day long. The side vents help keep the shoes stay nice and cool.

So happy this was my second pair of the same shoes. Wear everyday for workout and running and in general hanging out. First pair ripped from normal wear and tear after 8 months of hard use.

New Balance AT812 shoes. Couldn't get a pair in Australia. Purchased a pair from USA through Amazon. Very happy with the middle man, product, packaging, freight and cost. I have worn these shoes for a few weeks now and they are extremely comfortable. Well done New Balance!

I bought these for casual use and occasional light hiking. They are great in both regards: the black and silver and the combination of mesh and nylon looks great with a pair of cargo pants; very comfortable for hiking on moderate trails or gravel. They are great on concrete. Note that they have a little stiffness to the sole (which I think is better for rough terrain) and not a "bouncy ride". So if you're looking for a very springy action, you might want to look elsewhere. Personally I think they are a perfect compromise for most applications. I'm not a runner so I won't comment on long distance. As far as the sizing, they seemed to run true to my previous experience for the standard width NB. I have narrow feet and they feel barely snug--just right. I wear a 9.5 and they were right on the money. I have a bunch of "trail running" shoes and these are one of my favorites along with the pair of 474's I found on special and some great Columbias (those two pairs are more springy). Overall--highly recommended. I am a big fan of New balance. If you have wide feet, make sure you consider tracking down a pair of NB with increased width. Availability of various widths is one of the things they are known for. I'm always happy with the standard.

Great shoe for a person challenged with narrow feet. Runs true to size for me. Casual user so I can't comment on trail running ability. Made in the USA so a win all around.

This shoe is very comfortable and excellent quality. The company sent out the product and it arrived pretty fast. I would buy this shoe again.

Got these for my 12 yr old son. They seem to run a size small and there is not much cushioning in the insole. But he doesn't mind...he actually likes getting more "feel" of the ground when walking or running.
