Well built, light weight shoe. It works well for walking and light running. The fit and finish is very good. I like the shoe because it does not feel or look bulky. Shoe is priced right and made in the U.S.A.

My husband has a history of bone spurs on the soles of his feet. His chiropractor advised him to wear only New Balance sneakers for the excellent arch support.Since wearing NB he has not had a flare up. This is his third pair and it is an excellent fit for him.

They are an improvement over the #588 in comfort,fit, and light weight but have lost an inch of ankle support

I've always liked the fit of New Balance shoes, but they don't breathe well, and my feet get really hot. These MW559's are comfortable to wear, and they look great. I'll be glad when cooler weather gets here so my feet won't be so hot, though.

Wear them every day and they fit fine. They make me feel like running. Amazon is the place to buy.

I am on my feet all day at work and have tried all kinds of athletic shoes trying to find something that stays comfortable for 8 hours. The 559's from New Balance are the best I have found.
I wear them 5 days a week all day and have to do a lot of standing and walking. My last pair lasted me 8 months before the cushioning finally started to give out and I had to replace them. Think of how long they would last if you just wore to walk an hour or two a day! Highly recommend.

I have been a loyal New Balance wearer for years and liked them all till I got these, they started hurting my feet (to the point of limping) after about 3 days of wear.

These are pretty good shoes but I have to say they are smaller than the other same size NB walking shoes that I love. Also for some reason both pairs are almost too warm as if they do not breath very well and this pair instead of having cotton laces has something that feels like old plastic shopping bags twisted into twine. I am not sure if the laces are better or worse than cotton but they FEEL kind of cheap.

Very nice and comfortable shoes, but it is hard to buy shoes over the internet because you don't know if they will fit. The pair I bought was actually a little small because, from experience, New Balance shoes tend to run a little small.

Shoes did nto last very long in the middle east heat. Only six weeks. Got Nike and no issues.
