Very good comfortable shoe for the type of job I have. Would recommend to anyone that does alot of walking.

Extremely comfortable shoe. The only negative thing is the tongue is not attached on either side which makes it difficult. Good materials and easy to clean. Lightweight. I am a new balance fan.

I wouldn't buy any brand but New Balance for walking or running or just comfort. These are no different. Normally I wear a 9.5D or 10d. I read what others said and ordered a 10 2E, which fit just right. I use them on my treadmill 5 days a week and they seem to help with my posture so I feel more comfortable walking and running. The insert almost comes out every time I take them off but that's probably just because I have a very high instep. Great value for the price,

I might have rated this one a 4 star or even a 5 had it lived up to all my expectations; however two things prevented that, costing a star apiece. 1.) The shoe is (at least was for me) tight for shoes of similar size I'd purchased, so I'd go a letter wider. I LIKE New Balance shoes, and do about 1,000-1,500 miles of walking a year and can generally get a good year to 18 monts out of a pair of their shoes which I find quite adequate and MUCH better priced than the brands that make all the commercials. I genuinely LIKE the velcro overstraps, as I was constantly either pulling, or tripping over the strings on the stringed shoes. However you do seem to compromise a little on comfort when you go for that convenience, and for me--comfort is a must as I pay dearly for it after one of my lengthy walks in an improperly fitted shoe. 2.) It seems sized a bit higher than it actually is. I genuinely wear an 8 1/2, and while the right shoe fit okay, the left was so uncomfortably tight that I had to use a shoe stretcher for 10 days. All that notwithstanding, once broken in, the shoes are a nice fit and wear well--certainly at least as good as the pricey brands. So I give it 3/5... and advise get it about 1/2 size larger than your normal fit (at least that would have made it a much better fit for me--so weigh this carefully as you can't return footwear once you get it--or at least I would think not.)

I purchased 2 pair NewBalance sneakers from Amazon, one white and one black. The black pair are perfect. The white pair squeaked loudly when walking. Amazon graciously took them back but could not replace them as they were out of stock. They referred me to another supplier who did sell them at the same price.Smooth return procedure, very apologetic. I am very pleased with Amazon.

New Balance is great product, This is the first time I bought shoes over the Internet. I got 101/2 4E, but these are not 4Es, more like 2EE, and if I would of purchased 11s I believe that I would of been better off.

These shoes are better'n sliced bread, both in order execution and delivery, and in wear. Fit was perfect, and the Velcro just flat doesn't seem to wear out like it used to; What The? The shiny finish cleans up easily with a damp cloth, so I can go to church just after I muck out the barn. I could continue. Chuck Hammond, Sonoita, AZ

My husband needed a good shoe for work since he is on his feet all day. He also wanted velcro closure. He loves the shoe & says they are very comfortable. His feet don't hurt after being on them all day.

This shoe is very confortable and has a nice fit, a great walking shoe, great for everyday ware. I choose the velco fastener for convince and I'm glad I did. Accept for the toung wanting to keep going over to the side making it an anannoyance it would be a perfect shoe for me. Still this anannoyance is not enough to keep me from purchasing this product again.

Very happy with theses shoes. As I have some physical problems I was delighted to find these with the Velcro fasteners instead of lace up.
