good comfortable shoes,for walking,riding or any general casual use. well made and should last well.i certainly recommend these shoes to prospective buyers.

These are terrible shoes. I've owned many pair of new balance shoes before, these are not only the worst pair of new balance shoes I've ever owned, but the worst shoes I've ever owned. The insoles are like cardboard over sheetrock. I had to buy a pair of insoles at half the price of the shoes just to wear them. I will never buy another pair of new balance as long as I live. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!

I have always liked New Balance they are always comfortable and provide great support. I am a very big guy which causes some foot problems and New Balance has never really let me down yet providing I stick to me size and do not veer from that. In the last three months I have tried 9 4E and they were to wide I tried 8 1/2 4E and the arch hit wrong so I broke down and spent more then I usually do and bought 9 4E and they fit great. I highly recommend New Balance to over weight people because they will provide you with comfort and support. I am speaking as a person who is considered morbidly obese so please do not take offense.

I have been a New Balance shoe buyer for several years. These shoes are very disappointing. Soul material seems to be a very hard rubber and have hurt my feet from the time I fist put them on. Save yourself some grief and select any model.

I bought a brown pair or NB646 walking shoes locally about a year and a half ago. I wore them into the ground (lots of miles walking, exercising and outdoor activities).

I went back looking for a replacement pair (none to be found)- I turned to Amazon, located them and bought two pairs (black & brown). Again, great fitting shoes.

I used to wear size 10. I ordered this in 11. This pair feels just a tad too big, if that makes sense. I'm afraid of returning these and ordering 10.5, so I'm keeping these. I guess my new NB size is 11 (mirthless laugh). These are sneakers (compared to mx 621), and they have that sinking feeling at the toe, but other brands do as well, I found out recently. The sole does not feel rock hard like mx623. I use gel insert anyway, but I can wear these without the inserts for a time.
