New Balance Men's MR725 Running Shoe

This is a nice shoe, but they DEFINITELY run 1/2 size too small. I ALWAYS take a size 11 (even in another New Balance cross trainer that I own) but the way these are cut makes them taper in. My toes were pressed up against the front and running in them was excruciating. Go up 1/2 size from your regular. Trust me, you'll be happy you did...

But this shoes does not seem to have the cushioning/ endurance of more expensive models. (I have only found out about the features that this shoe had much after the fact when comparing it with other shoes on the New Balance site). I probably put something like 200 miles on this shoe before my knees started telling me that it was time to buy a new pair. What's more: I compared the feel/support of running in a much more expensive pair of New Balance shoes and found a significant difference.

Apparently, you get what you pay for. This shoe was something like $40 (bought in Hong Kong) and when I look again, it is no longer manufactured (I see why). For what it's worth, it seems that the number of miles that you can get out of shoes per unit of money is conserved across different models. So, the new pair of shoes has about 12 features (including "NB-x," which is an additional feature related to support that I didn't find in the other pair of shoes).

For the record, I'm a heavy runner (225# and 6"3+) and am accordingly hard on shoes.

I've had these for a year and they are still holding up strong with semi-consistent gym use. They still look good, too.

Bought these for $20 maybe for some running. Still using them. They are light and comfortable. Maybe not the most stable or full/cushion-y, but great for running since they don't weigh me down.

The silver and green double as good eye catchers in case you run in some dark spots.

These are cool sneakers. They look great and have very sharp colors that make a statement. They are very comfortable, lightweight, and durable. The cushioning is great as well. They are great for running and for walking as they provide great traction and stability.

I did only one run yet in these shoes, and they are light and comfy, with no arch support, so they are great for underpronators. I have Illiotibial Band Syndrome, and this is the first time I could run 5 miles without any serious pain. Could be a bit more flexible, but overall quite comfortable. My first New Balance purchase.

Saw these shoes for $24 and decided to go for it. Glad I did. I am impressed with these shoes. American made, nice style, lightweight and comfortable. Ordered 1/2 size larger (recommend this) and they fit just fine right out of the box. Very pleased with my purchase.

These running shoes are great and they only cost about $24. How can you go wrong? If they last six months you still got a great deal. These shoes are very comfortable and hold up well during a long run.

the sneakers were what I expected, visually they're much more vibrant in pictures, but so far they do the job they're supposed to.
