Finding comfortable and properly fitting shoes is a frustrating search, but these have fit very well on my wide feet. The front outer leather on the shoe did develop a hole early on after purchasing these at a retail store. There is an inner material that holds them together, like an innner fabric shoe to match the outer leather. I assume the hole was a defect in the leather used when manufacturing this particular pair of shoes. I still do have my doubts on the material quality though, so buyer beware. I only took one rating star off for poor materials, because I need to give the company extra rating credit for a shoe that actually fits comfortably. I use(d) these as my daily work shoes. I have other shoe brands to wear, but I prefer the 621s for comfort, even with the gaping hole in the leather. I am shoe shopping here on amazon due to the hole getting much larger after a few months of daily wear. I'd try another pair, but only if they were on sale.

I had trouble finding a good solid pair of cross-trainers for my step aerobic classes, and, as usual, New Balance came to my rescue. Since strict "step shoes" are made for women, cross-trainers are the men's alternative. The 621s offer a thick, wide sole for stability and a comfortable, soft fit all-around. I bought some cushion inserts to help with all the stepping. Also, the bright white and the green stitching are nice and subtle, esp. with the manic-looking sneakers that are usually at the gym.

I am on my fourth pair of these. I buy a new pair every spring and use the old ones to cut the grass. I have tried my different brands but they are not a true 4E width, these are.

Love these sneakers, have had 2 pairs in the last 7 yrs..will keep buying them as long as they make them!

A great shoe at an even greater price. Typical high quality New Balance product. They have my business as long as they continue to produce these excellent shoes.

My NB were just right. I had no problems with the fit in any way. I am very satified in all areas. I will be buying more as time goes on.

I purchased these because Amazon recommended them but they are over priced and too heavy. I prefer my NB 791 cross trainers which are just fine.

This is the first pair of New Balance shoes I have purchased, and this will not be the last. After finally being fed up on inexpensive, uncomfortable shoes, and enduring constant foot and ankle pain, I decided to do my homework. These shoes live up to their reputation. They fit my feet as they should, have the proper support, and the comfort is like no other shoe I have owned. My work requires me to be on my feet, and active all day, and these shoes have been a blessing.
