These are quite simply the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn - this is the second pair of the exact same model/size/color that I have purchased (the first pair was directly from a New Balance store in my local mall, and was considerably more expensive!)

They are wide and flat, which means they won't pinch the sides of your feet in - also has a very stiff piece which acts like an "anti-roll" bar - so if you have a tendency to step on to the side of your feet, this will help with balance, and may even correct that somewhat.

They are great for walking, and for extended periods of standing (for example, retail/restaurant work). Also, because of their wide design, they are ideal for circulatory issues, and diabetes.

Because they are so stiff, they may not be best suited for jogging/running - but then they *are* called walking shoes!
