The cleat was not only too small but this cleat has the similar problem that plagues the baseball cleat market. Baseball cleats in general are too narrow at the toes. For outfield and base running, cleats ought to be wider in the fore foot to allow for wider toe traction and balance. It seems that this feature is only available in some turf mid high cleats. Companies need to consider this a feature in their molded and steel cleats which would allow for greater balance in the ankle and knee areas.
