They are lightweight, comfortable, cute and just awesome.

They have plenty of room around the toes for my feet to spread out.

I don't wear socks and, so far, there is no ridiculous smell.

I don't run but walk a lot, plus exercise in the gym. I have to admit that I bought them because I love the way they look.
I've tried in the store black, grey and grey/coral and last one look most vibrant. The coral accent are more reddish/pinkish mix than orange.
They look good with straight, boot cut jeans, capris, all kind of sweats and shorts.

Very comfortable from the very first walk. I wear 8.5 and they fit true to size with thin socks.

I love the sole of these, my knee has stopped hurting since I started walking in these, which is wonderful. However I have two big problems that make me feel these were a waste of money and that I should have gone with the Vibram soled Merrells. Number one, you have to wear really tall socks or the top part of the back of the shoes digs into the back of your ankle. Easy fix, but still, with that part so high it is annoying to have to buy new socks or have a blister in under a mile.

The bigger problem is that they are short. I went up a size and my toe still squishes up against the front end of the shoe. My impression is that this is true of most barefoot shoes, but that does not excuse it. I do not have particularly long feet and have never had this problem before, I hate that I have to cut a hole in $100 shoes to stop from being in pain.

Most shoes, especially with extra padding/and/or support feel like "frankenstein" shoes to me. I no longer run (except for short distances while playing with my dog), but walk with my dog off road about 4 or 5 miles per day. I looked for a long time, and tried a lot of shoes, including Merrells (which I like for work). With the Minimus, I can actually feel the ground, and am able to adjust my gait, feel inclines, and have much better balance with these shoes. They are light and comfortable, right from the start. One reviewer mentioned they don't feel very well if you are running/walking where there are a lot of small sharp rocks. I agree, but I'm not using them walking hard trails. I even began to play racquetball in them, and find I like them better than any court shoe I've used; again, because I can feel the floor, I seem to be a lot more coordinated with these shoes. I'm buying two more pair. Knowing how they feel, I would gladly pay twice as much and be just as happy.

This shoe saved my running. Getting back into running shape after the birth of my daughter I found that my knee (ACL surgery 15 years ago) could no longer handle running more than two days in a row. Up to this point, I had been a college athlete, marathoner, etc. The stride change that accompanied this shoe was just what I needed. Mechanically, I am more efficient, there is no more pain, and I feel swift as the wind. Thank you, New Balance. They fit like a glove, too!

I am NOT a runner. Running has always been tough for me, but I push myself anyway, because it's a great weight loss and when you finish a long run, the accomplishment feels fantastic. I have tried just a few shoes over the last ten years or so that I've been running. My sister bought these shoes and her husband the five fingers and they loved both of their minimal running shoes.
I bought these as a birthday present and today I went on my first run with them. I loved them. They were light and felt good, even though in the middle they felt a little tight. But I took to them naturally, like my body had been trying to run like that for years. I love the color (I got the teal ones) and I love the feel. I'm hoping the more I run in them the more used to them I'll get. But I already notice a different in my running and I love it.

These shoes are not for everyone. If you need the support and cushion a regular running shoes gives you, then don't waste your money. Now, if you are making or have made the transition into barefoot or minimalist running then these shoes are amazing. I bought these as an alternative for my Vibram Fivefingers as I cannot wear them to work. I have really bad knees and I can't express how much these shoes have helped with that. I'm a nurse and walking constantly for 12 hours a day can really take a toll on my knees and lower back. These shoes have helped me tremendously with that once I trained my feet to barefoot running. They fit true to size, and can take a some time to mold to your feet, especially if you have a pronounced bunion or wide feet, so start slow. For me, it's awesome!

I really love these shoes. They are lightweight, comfortable, cute and just awesome. I've used them mainly for walking around the city, not running. I walk a lot and my feet don't hurt in these shoes, even after a long while.

The only weirdness about the shoe is that the sides (where your ankles are) kind of pop out, they don't fit to your foot perfectly or like a normal shoe and they create a gap of space. Other than looking weird it doesn't really bother me or cause discomfort. My husband has the men's version of this shoe and the same gap happens for him.

No complaints. Buy the shoes and love them! $90 well spent. :)

These quickly became my favorite go-to shoe all summer. I work in physical therapy and they're comfortable to work 8+ hours in, even on concrete floors. I wore them to music festivals and camping as well. I have issues with hard calluses on the pad of both feet that I have to keep shaved down, and I also have very wide feet. These shoes fit and felt great the moment I put them on. I was just revisiting the site to see what other colors they came in. I will buy another pair. The only drawback, and it's not a very big one, is that I don't wear socks in theses shoes and after wearing all day my feet smell like..well....feet.
