I'm typically a low mileage runner (5-10 miles a week) and have tried many different more expensive shoes in search of the perfect shoe, especially back in the day of training for longer races. Nothing I've tried has compelled me to buy a second pair until this one. as the other reviewer said, NO break in time, I just put these on and ran out. I do, as with all other shoes, put in an arch insole, as my feet crave more support there. They feel good and am going to purchase another pair before these get discontinued and I can't find them.

I bought these shoes in black two days ago and I can't believe how good they fit and feel. No break-in period necessary.

The black pair have cool patent-leather type accents that dress them up a bit. A very nice change from predominantly white athletic shoes.

I have serious foot problems and have a hard time finding shoes that I can comfortably wear and look good, too.

These fit the bill 100 percent!

As soon as I pulled these out of the box, I stuffed my size 9 feet in them. I expected them to be tight, as my feet are slightly wider than a medium but not wide enough for a wide in most brands. Nothing had prepared me for the comfortable feel of taking my first few steps in these New Balance shoes. There is no pinching or tightness and plenty of cushioning. (I have a high arch and had to be careful about not overtightening the laces--that WAS uncomfortable.)

The heel is about 1.75", so those of us who are short may get a bit of a psychological boost. :) And those who are overweight will find these shoes very accommodating, both supportive and stable, for their workouts.

One thing I need to point out is that the pink/black has more of a purplish pink than a true, clear pink. Cosmetic observations aside, the shoes seem sturdy and well-made and I expect to get a lot of use out of them. For this price point, I am very satisfied.

After coming back into running after a couple years off, I was a little skeptical buying shoes online. I had a gift card, though, and threw caution to the wind and am so glad I did! These shoes are light but allow for toe room and provide stability which I need due to a tendency to overpronate. I LOVE THESE SHOES!

Just got these shoes yesterday in the mail. I have always been an Asics fan but these shoes are way comfortable than Asics and Nike. They are so light compared to my other running shoes. It is very roomy for my toes (I have wide feet). As soon as I got them, I put my insoles in and did my workout. No problems there. This morning, I went for a 3 mile run and it felt wonderful on my feet. I didn't even need to break them in. They felt so light during my run and it didn't hurt my toes at all! I love the color too! I can't wait to get me another pair.

I have plantar faciitis and I have a hard time wearing shoes all day that keep my feet from hurting. These sneakers are great and I am happy I went ahead and purchased same after reading the reviews. I measured my feet per instructions and got a 1/2 size larger which I usually can't find, it is always whole numbers! At first my heel moved when trying these out, but I had no socks on. When I wore them this weekend for the day, with a light sock, I actually forgot what was on my feet for shoes! For me, they were comfortable and didn't remind me the heel moved or maybe didn't and my feet never hurt all day! I like the color instead of white to wear with jeans as my mature age makes me want to disguise I am getting older! At first I was concerned about the pointed toes but ended up liking them better because they don't make my feet look larger (10 1/2 - women's size). And if these sneakers are made in USA, that is so much better!

First time reviewer but felt it might help others out. I've never purchased shoes online before and thought I was crazy for doing it. But I had an Amazon gift card, so why not. I'm a casual runner (about 9-12 miles a week) and have an old pair of New Balance that I was always happy with. I have a little wider than average foot but not wide enough for a true wide-width shoe. I knew New Balance always fit in the past and I was right again. Definitely enough space and very comfortable! I'm usually a 7-1/2 but sometimes an 8 will fit ok... so I was worried about not trying on the shoe first. I ordered the 7.5 B and it fit GREAT! Couldn't have been happier with this purchase and I will probably always stick with the brand.

I love these shoes. New Balance can not be beat at least for me. I have flat feet and walking and/or standing hurts after even a short time in the wrong shoes. I can last several hours with these and not be sore. It doesn't hurt that they're very cute & match my wardrobe either! The only gripe I'd have is not with the product it's with the shipping time from the seller I used on Amazon Marketplace. It took longer than I would have liked to receive them and it was not free shipping.

Bought these shoes for part of my girlfriend's birthday present and she loves them! She just started her externship in the medical field so I thought she'd need a new pair of shoes that would be comfortable while she was on her feet all day. She has told me her feet and back don't bother her at all while she is working. An excellent buy!

These are fantastic tennis shoes. I workout in the gym and tend to get shin splints and pain on the balls of my feet and these shoes have been amazing.
