I bought these shoes hoping to find a replacement for my ct 1002 New Balance. I need a big toe box and this shoe has it. It also has a great arch and is extremely comfortable for me. I have a bunion and wear a special insert that fits perfectly in the shoe. I have played in them several times and also used them for exercise. I plan to buy another pair as a spare.

I'm on my 5th pair of these shoes, and will keep buying them as long as I can find them. They are a comfortable fit right out of the box; no "breaking in" necessary. I play tennis several days a week on hard and soft surfaces. LOVE these shoes!

This is a great shoe for a narrow foot. It breathes extremely well and offers good support. This is my third pair.

Purchased these last NB tennis shoes after owning 2 other models...the 1001 and the 1002. Both of which I loved. The 1004 is OK but seems to have more room in toe box and less arch support. I'm an older 3.5 player and only play once a week so they work for me. I also have a narrow foot and purchased the AA but still seem to be a little roomie.

I always wear a size 8 and have had previous New balance tennis shoes. How ever, this shoe came a bit too small and gave me blisters the first time I used them for an hour. Today I wore them for 2 hours and got twice as many blisters! It is a shame.

This is my second pair of the WTC1004. It has tremendous support, provides stability and cushion. I bought a third pair as back up since I'm on the courts five or more days a week. All I can say is I hope New Balance keeps this model for a long time!

I've been playing in these shoes for the past 2 months about 3 times a week. The sole wear is great but the shoe won't soften and seem very heavy. They are so hard and stiff I've been running around on court flat footed and destroying my feet. Was hoping they would break in a little but I've thrown in the towel and have given up on them. If you're looking for a flexible shoe, don't go with the 1004's.

I wanted to get my wife a new pair of tennis shoes for Christmas; I found them at the lowest price and with the best shipping rate at Amazon.Com. I ordered them online and received them at my front door sooner than contracted. If I had used Amazon.Com online for the previous two shoe purchases at a local store these would have been virtually free. Perfect ***** (5 star) experience!!!

These shoes are very comfortable. And they have an insert which keep your feet from sweating. I will buy nothing but New Balance.

Bought these shoes because I was told they were really comfortable. I should have read more reviews before I ordered them. I love New Balance tennis shoes but not these. They felt mushy with little support. Sent them back.
