I was about to head out on a 13+ hour flight and I wanted some shoes that would be comfortable to travel in, plus easy to take and on at the airport and on the plane...plus look good. I ran across these at the New Balance outlet near me just before I was to leave. I think these were the best purchase I made that day. These shoes are very comfortable, they fit very well, and I've never had an issue with them coming off. I wear these shoes more than any other shoes I own, pretty much every day. I've had them for a year now and they are still in great shape. I have even put them through the washer several times without an issue. They even survived 6 months being worn walking around McMurdo Station in Antarctica on what I like to call ash dirt.
