great stability!,

I bought these shoes after my orthopedic doctor recommended investing in a pair of new balance stability shoes because I overpronate. They really hold my foot in place & were a good investment. If you like a flexible sole on your shoe, this is not the shoe for you. Stability shoes don't have a lot of flex in the sole. These are also sharp looking running shoes.

As for service, I ordered the product, got it quickly, and it was exactly what I expected. As for the product, it is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever put on my foot. Incredibly supportive outdoors and in the gym. Highly recommend it!

Hands down, these are the most supportive and comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are also very light weight, so you hardly know they are there!

I over-pronate so I wanted a sturdy shoe for everyday. The New Balance pair works great, especially with a store-bought orthotic. They are very comfortable for all-day work.

Great walking shoe!,

These are great shoes; a bit expensive but well worth it. I have had problems in the past with Plantar Facitis(sp) and also shin splints; I've had neither of these problems with these shoes...I actually bought two pair!

I purchased our daughter a pair of NB WR1223's a couple weeks ago at the reduced price of $84.90 plus an additional instant $25.00 Amazon discount and all she could say over and over again the rest of the day was, Thanks Dad, these shoes are Tha Bomb!
Great shoes at what I consider to be a great price....... :-)

I do not reccommend this running shoe, especially at it's expense. Causes a greater heel strike with less coushining, thus heel pain even when not exercising. I love New Balance, but stick to the 769 shoe which has the stability and comfort any runner is looking for.. I can run 10-15 miles/week on the 769 with no problems!

This sneaker is great for plantar fascitis if you are just using them as walking shoes. They are NOT good for high mileage running at all. I never had a hip or knee pain after running, except after runs in these shoes.

Best running shoe I have ever had!,

This has been, by far, the best running shoe I've ever had. Originally, I bought two pairs of the NB 1223 last year so that I could switch off and alternate them. They lasted me a year and that involved wearing them over 40 hours a week at work (on my feet 90% of the time) and over 10 hours a week at the gym. After about a year, I started to develop pain in my heels. I thought that it was probably because I needed new shoes (and new Super Feet Inserts), so I tried to buy a new pair of New Balance running shoes. The pain continued to get worse, so I went to the Dr. and he sent me to get x-rays. After a few weeks, I decided to see if I could buy another pair of my "old" New Balance Running Shoes (WR 1223) since I never had any problems with my heels when they were new. After a few days of wearing the new WR 1223 Running Shoes, my heels didn't hurt anymore. These are the best shoes I have ever had! I am probably going to be ordering another pair soon while I can still get them.
