This is a great pair of shoes for working out at the gym and due to the harder soles, they are a great bike shoe. I am a high mileage runner and have several dozen pair of running shoes; most of the major brands and many minor. I would not recommend these shoes for distance running. Their soles lack proper cushion and it would be quiet easy to come up with an impact injury from them. Of course this is just my opinion. One of my best friends has two pair of these and they are her favorite running shoe and she has had no problems with them (yet). As others have pointed out, these shoes do run narrow. Just a tip...unless you know exactly what you are getting, i.e. you tried them on in a store, you probably should hesitate in ordering any New Balance running or workout shoe over the line. New Balance makes wonderful shoes, don't get me wrong...I have gone through many pair, but the sizes from one model to another differ greatly. Do be careful here.

THese shoes were a good buy for the price (less than $25!), they are comfortable and light and ok for my workout. No complaints.

i have narrow feet, and these are the first running shoes i've purchased that actually fit me well -- even better than nike narrow tennis shoes. and my recent burst of running harder and faster is a testament to getting shoes that fit. if you have slightly wider than normal feet, or especially if you have wide feet, i can't imagine these new balance shoes will work for you.

I would not run in this, there are barely any cushion and the soles are a bit hard. But they work fine for a spinning class, working out on a elliptical machine, or even maybe a brisk walk.

These shoes fit well at least till I put on a thicker sock. My toe kinda bumps the top of the shoe. The cushion in these shoes are not the best for running. I love to walk in them. But I ran a few miles one day like 6 and my ankles hurt from the lack of cushion. Never do that again.

As a walking shoe good choice.

Oh and they stay filthy, shoulda brought black. Im washing them right now as I type this. So hopefully they don't shrink.

I jog 2-3 miles at a time on my treadmill 3-4 times a week. I don't know much about running shoes, but I sure love these. Great support and very comfortable. Ordered them in my usual size 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

i was looking for a shoes that will face my marathon preparation. i found them very comfortable and size 11,5d is as wider as it should be.

they are not that bright as they look on the picture - but i have no problem with that.

i would recommend it to others.

The New Balance WR1306 is perfect for me. However, if you have wide feet or high arches, you may not like them.

If you walk or run in muddy areas, these shoes will collect the mud like crazy.

I like these shoes for walking and for working out at the health club.

this shoe runs narrow and small.if you have a wide foot i don't recommend this pair.

This shoe is very heavy compared to other NB running shoes and other shoes on the market. I am a long distance runner and thought I'd try them out. NOT GREAT for exercise just way too heavy. Now I wear them to work instead.
