This shoe is truly the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I walk about 4 miles every morning and it has so much stability and comfort. I have always loved New Balance, but these are the best.

It seems that finding a decent NB walking shoe at local stores is a thing of the past. Stores may only have one white walking style shoe and carry more toning shoes instead. So without any success, I decided to go on line to search for the perfect shoe. The problem now is not being able to try them on for the right size. The first pair I ordered (through a different web store) was 1/2 size larger and way too small, so I had to go through the expense of returning them. I found Amazon was a few dollars less and ordered them through their website. I ordered one full size larger and that was barely enough. Now to the shoe itself. It is a comfortable shoe. It does feel less cumbersome when walking fast on the treadmill, so I do like that. It is more stylish that the other walkers I've had from NB. I walk 5-7 miles, 5 days a week. The only thing I'm not sure about is how durable the material will be because there is more cloth than I am used to for overall foot support in the upper part of the shoe. The soles are well made and supportive. The heel box fits snugger than the others which is nice because there is less slippage. The shoe laces are great and stay tied without double knotting them. I would like to have a little more cushioning at the ball of the foot for my bunion. I may have to purchase a stronger insole for that after a while. Otherwise, I would buy this shoe again.

I wish more sport shoes came in narrow, but these are really good. Good support. Nice color. I will buy another pair.

Bought thses shoes for my mom who is 65 and an active women. She loves them! Well worth the money

I walk about 5 miles a day and therefore go through shoes quickly, so I was hoping by spending a little more on these shoes with all this walking technology built in I would see an improvement in the way my legs and feet feel. No such luck. They don't feel any better or worse-no change. That's no reason to not buy the shoes, but I was a bit disappointed especially after reading other user reviews. I've worn only New Balance shoes for walking for about a decade and they have always been true to size...except this shoe. I had to return the first pair for a wider width. I have always worn a B width in New Balance until this shoe and it also runs about a half-size too small. All of these things sound so negative, but truly, on the whole I like the shoe. Just knowing they run narrow and small is always helpful when buying online. They are sturdy, nicely designed, and well-ventilated. The laces have these little bumps all along them to prevent them from untying mid-walk, which is always a plus! As of right now, about 100 miles into these shoes, I am on the fence as to whether I would buy them again.

These are the second pair I have sent for from this site. Normally I would never consider shopping for shoes online, but these are a perfect fit and both times I have immediately been able to wear them with barely any time necessary for getting used to them. Hightly recommend these New Balance walking shoes.

I usually love New Balance shoes, but these aren't comfortable. I have added inserts for extra padding, but they still are my least favorites for walking.

I was very skeptical because I have never owned a New Balance pair of sneakers and much less a walking pair of shoes, I have always used Nike, however, I started walking a month ago and noticed that my feet would hurt too much after the walk and I realized that I needed a good pair of walking shoes. I did my research and came to this page, still I was unsure but reading the other feedback left I decided to give them a try. These sneakers are so comfortable I can walk for hours non- stop and have no swelling, no pain nothing! they are also cute I'm into looks when it comes to my sneakers) I have worn them for 2 weeks and they are still white and impeccable and I walk in a park were they play baseball, there is nothing negative I can say about these, I'm usually a 7.5M but I ordered 7.5N and they fit PERFECTLY! Search no more if you are looking for good reliable nice looking walking shoes for daily walking this are the best choice

Although the New Balance 1200 is a quality shoe and very comfortable, I returned it since a different New Balance style actually fit my narrow flat feet a little better.

This is the worst pair of walking shoes I have ever worn. I usually walk 3 -4 miles every Sat. and Sun. I wear this pair of shoes for the first time today and it hurt my foot so bad that I could barely walk after my first mile.

I wanted to return this but since I have already worn them, I was not able to return them. It was a total waste of money ($100 for this pair of New Balance shoe) and a piece of crap!

I would not recommend any one to buy this pair of shoes since you will end up throwing them out.

New Balance should not classify this as walking shoe....... it is definitely not made for walking.

I am very disappointed at New Balance shoes and will not be buying any more New Balance shoes!
