Great shoes! Perfect fit, comfortable, etc. I have average feet (with no problems or diseases) and wear them for everyday purposes; yard and house work, running errands, etc. I'm not an athlete, so I can't really say what it's like to wear them for running or power walking. I just like them for everyday wear. This is my third pair of New Balance sneakers. I got my first pair in the early '00s, so they last a very long time.

Edit time 2011/07/19 - No change in my stars for these shoes! If I could give them an extra star, I would. I am updating to say that I started hiking two months ago and wearing them when I'm in the woods. In fact, that's what brought me to this page. I need to purchase another pair for every day since the other pair have officially become "a mess" - Dirty beyond what's acceptable to wear outside of my hikes. I'm done trying to get them back to clean and white, so I'll have two pairs, thanks.

They are fantastic shoes to wear on hikes. I don't think about my feet for a second when I have them on. They are thick enough to protect my feet in rugged terrain, but the material is breathable enough so that my feet stay cool in the hottest days. They've been fantastic.

This is the third time I have purchased these sneakers. They are very comfortable. I wear them for everyday and for hiking. They get a lot of mileage. Highly recommended.

My wife swears by New Balance shoes. This is the 4th pair she has owned. They look good,last a long time,and don`t break down like many other shoes. I even found a pair for myself here at Amazon.com. We even paid less than half the going price for both pairs of our New Balance shoes here. Thanks Amazon.com

I'm very happy I decided to go with this shoe. I wear them to work and they're great! I'm on my feet "all" day and with this pair of shoes I stand in comfort. New Balance is the way to go.

I love New Balance shoes, and this one is no exception. I only wish they had more of an arch support. It tends to run a little small, but still, it's a good sturdy walking shoe. I have recommended this shoe to my friends. I wear this shoe all day.

I have worn New Balance shoes for years and find them the most comfortable athletic shoe out there, with great support and quality materials.

I have troublesome feet with a variety of problems and have difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable. These have several advantages. My feet are flat, I'm prone to plantar fasciitis and I have rigid joints at my big toes among other things. I need a shoe with a generous toe box since my feet swell sometimes, but my heels are narrow. Finding just the right shoe is a real challenge. I've worn other styles of New Balance shoes that are discontinued--and I have to admit the quality of leather is not what it used to be--but in this particular shoe all the right things seem to be there. There is good arch support and a nicely cushioned insole and outer sole in both heel and toe. The shoe has a narrower heel than most New Balance styles.

The width is very true to size although the shoe is a tiny bit shorter than others I have in the same size. The arch is perfectly placed, but my toe almost touches the tip, which it doesn't in my other shoes. Still the difference is small. For me they work, but if you're pushing at the toe of your current size, I'd order a half size larger.

The shoes offer cushioned support all around my feet and unlike others, I can wear them all day without my feet tiring or hurting. For me that's a miracle. I'm so impressed with them, I ordered two more pairs. I'm a little gun shy after the other styles I liked were discontinued.

The only mesh on the shoe is around the heel collar. There is no mesh on the body of the shoe, but my feet don't get hot, so even though the leather seems practically artificial, it must breathe.

All in all, I find these shoes a great buy and very comfortable. I definitely recommend them

I've worn New Balance shoes for years. I needed wider ones because of swelling from meds. These go on so easily and I'm very pleased with the price and free shipping I got at Amazon.

I have been a loyal New Balance customer for years because the shoes last a good long while, they are comfortable and fit well, and they accommodate my arch supports/orthotics. However, I am really frustrated with my latest pair, WW410's, because the right shoe squeaks so loudly I can't wear them in the house when someone is sleeping! I thought the problem would go away when I broke them in, but I've had them for months now and they still squeak!

These are my favorite shoes for walking. They are fairly reasonable, fit my wide feet perfectly if I order D width, and are super comfortable.
