I am a librarian and work on a concrete floor covered with a thin layer of carpet. Since I have arthritis in my spine and elsewhere, I need supportive leather shoes that will accommodate orthotics. These are the best I have found. Although not that beautiful, they look nice enough for work, more like an oxford than an athletic shoe.

I'm a mail carrier and bought these shoes for my job. I feel because of that, I've put these shoes to the ultimate test! I walk approx. 16 miles a day in these shoes and I've got to say, these shoes are the best I've ever worn! They're excellent not only for walking, but also long periods of standing. If you're looking for a comfortable shoe, this is it! I'm back to order a 2nd pair!

I have been pleased for many years wearing New Balance shoes, but this is my first experience with WW576 walking shoe. I now have them in both black and white. Particularly like the roomy toebox as I usually wear thick cushiony socks. Thanks NB keep up your excellent shoes.

The shoes feel good on my feet, however, my big toe is bothered by the

upper stitching on top of the shoe.

It may just be the way the shoe is made, the size seems to be correct.
Shoe is well made and has eye appeal.

After 11 months in a cast caused by a broken heel--I bought these walking shoes because I needed great supportive shoes once the healing process was complete. They not only have proved to be that, but they last longer than any of my other purchases of "name brand" supportive walking shoes. They are my only choice for walking shoes now. I highly recommend them for anyone. I found that Amazon's price is less expensive than even the manufacturer on-line web site. Love that!

I bought this on the recommendation of my podiatrist. She said that New Balance was a good shoe for stability. I wear these to work, and although they aren't the most attractive, they have helped ease my ankle pain. I bought the size 10 wide. The width is true to size, but the length is short, my toes hit the top of the shoe, which can sometimes be uncomfortable.

I took these shoes out of the box last night and I'm wearing them today. I do a lot of walking during the day and I'm already in love with these shoes. My orthotics fit easily in the shoe. These shoes are very stiff/sturdy. So that said, if you don't like sturdy leather shoes I would wonder if you might like these. But otherwise the shoes are supporting my poor flat feet perfectly. Good job New Balance.

Not made of leather. Man made materials. Called New Balance and they said that all of their shoes of this model are "all" leather. I sent them back and have not been reimbursed as of yet. Poor listing. Be careful buying from this seller. I suspect they are "knock-offs".

I have another pair of New Balance tennies so I thought I had an idea of how they fit. Wrong. These run small and the toe box seemed to narrow very sharply on the big toe side. Plus, if you are thinking that there will be any give in the footbed or sole, wrong again. These were incredibly stiff. I had to send them back. They look better than they feel. I cannot imagine a comfy walk in them.

My foot is somewhat on the narrow side of medium.

Really like these comfy shoes -for those who need a slightly broader toe box this one seems to fit the bill.
