I needed a brown work shoe that would help keep me on my feet for 10 - 12 hours. While this is titled a walking shoe it has done a great job as a work shoe. It's comfortable and provides great support. My only comment would be that it seems the sizes run a tiny bit small.

Wore these for the first time today and they felt great for the 12 hours I had them on. No breaking in period. Like the color and the suede too, although if they offered them in white and/or black, I'd probably buy those too (that's how comfortable they are). They do run about a half size short and little bit narrow. I normally wear a 5B to 5-1/2B but got these in a 6B and they fit great. Based on my experience, I've found that several of the New Balance styles seem to run a little small compared to other brands (I also have NB cross-trainers in a size 6). If you want to wear heavier socks with these, I'd definitely recommend going up a half size from what you normally wear.

I love everything about these shoes. True to size, extremely comfortable, well made. What more could one want.

These shoes are some of the most comfortable and easy to walk in shoes I have had in a long time. Well worth the price, which isn't that high, but try to get on sale and buy several, in case they go out of style.

I wear these shoes almost every other day. When I first put them on, the were a little tight. However, since the first day, they have been incredible. They are so comfortable and I would definitely purchase these shoes again in the future.

These new balance are a nice shade of brown. However, they are very narrow at the arch. Get the width a size larger.

At first, I was worried because these definitely felt tight. But they stretched really nicely and now they are really comfortable. These shoes are also very warm and cute. I sprayed Nikwax water & stain resistent, so I can wear these on rainy days. I strongly recommend, but if you have wide feet, you better at least a half size up.

Sturdy comfortable shoe. Excellent support and well made. I need support, since I am on my feet a lot. Not too heavy, unlike some models. Purchased at $31.98 with free shipping so a good value. Came in three days.

These shoes aren't pretty--they look a lot like hiking boots--but they're pleasantly comfortable. That is, however, because in New Balance shoes I have to order a half size larger in order to get the length I need. This, in turn, necessitates the use of thick socks, which sometimes causes my feet to get too hot after a while. I like the shoes, and I'm glad I have them, but I don't think I'd order another pair.
