I have only bought New Balance for my last few pairs of walking shoes. They are always light weight and durable. These are mesh, so they have plenty of airflow. They will get your feet wet if you step in water. I walked all over Europe in these and my feet never hurt! I use them for any kind of long walking and when I need to stand for a long time. SO comfortable. The insoles come out easily to put in orthodics too. Love them

I purchased the upgrade of this shoe, which is also the 760 model. The shoe shown is not made as well or look as good as the newer model. Having said that, I will tell you this is a stability shoe with motion control. Unfortunately, it has no arch support. But I put in a good arch support and find the shoes great. Fact is, I hardly know I'm wearing shoes -- I'm unaware of my feet. And that's great! I have bad feet with arthritis. So it's hard for me to find shoes that work well --- especially for my workouts. These are great and I bought two pairs of them.

I suggest you buy at least a half and possibly a full size larger than your street shoes. Of course, you should have your feet measured at least yearly because most all of us find our feet get larger with age and often our arches fall, causing some degree of flat feet.

These shoes are great for flat feet and people with foot problems. Certainly no shoe is good for all. But I find these shoes just great. They didn't have much support and I expect they wouldn't last much past a month...just for walking. You pay for the pink ribbon logo.
