4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Discussion of Baseball Statistics, March 8, 2007

This review is from: The New Ballgame: Understanding Baseball Statistics for the Casual Fan (Paperback)
The author covers virtally all aspects of modern baseball statistics. He explains the various newer statistics without being overly technical. Thus, the "non-geeky" fan who wants to understand will be able to comprehend. He also discusses the differences in data compiled during baseballs different eras. He also has a nice chapter on fantasy baseball and simulation games. Worthwhile addition to your baseball library.
