I wanted to get, & still intend to get the full set of 20 Volumes, & the condition of this one used Book, has convinced me to at sometime in the near future, to try & obtain the Full Set.

I grew up on this series of books, and each edition gets better and better....Its the best encyclopledia for children I have ever come accross...Its what made me what I am today, gave me my first taste of the exotic and far away places that I have always wanted to visit....I would want each and every child to read this masterpiece!

I love the blue covered set of encyclopedias. They seem very durable and colorful. My children started reading Volume A as though it was a book. It had easy to read articles with detailed color photos. It goes into some depth without getting too technical, but covering subjects surprisingly well.
You can get a free copy of Volume 1/A at scholastic books. But you will have to cancel or by the whole set when volume 2/B arrives. The price is actually good, comparatively. Don't pay any extra for special shipping -- try the trial version.
