I bought this car thinking it would be a good 1st RC. I suppose it is that! The car looks good but is the slowest of the three RC's that I bought for Christmas. I wanted everyone in my family to have a car so that we all could race. This one loses every time, and it's not because I can't drive. I can out maneuver the other drivers, but any lead I build is lost in the straight aways. Maybe if some lights and a siren were added, it would at least be cooler and more showy than the other cars.

Be careful when ordering this. The seller states the color sent may not actually be the color pictured. I didn't have a problem with this. Sure, as a police man that drives a Dodge Charger, my kid would have been over joyed to receive the Charger in any color.

What I received was an orange Dodge Challenger. A completely different car. Not nearly as cool as a black and white Charger.

I think there is a difference between "different color" and "different car altogether."

The toy is a good quality toy and my son enjoyed it. I also ordered a Corvette by this manufacturer (but from a different vendor) with the intent we could play cops and robbers. Now we just play ordinary race cars.

I knew when I bought this it wouldn't compare to some of the high end radio control cars I have, and only bought it to modify into a police car. The Dodge Charger is getting very hard to find in this size/scale so my options are limited. Detail is actually very good, but driving/handling is less than stellar. If you're looking for speed on the cheap, you will be very disappointed.
