This review is from: The New Catholic Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition (15 Volume Set) (Hardcover)
For the price of a personal computer, you could buy
this encyclopedia for a young person in Catholic school (high school or college.) A diligent student could get the equivalent of a Catholic liberal arts college education by studying the New Catholic Encyclopedia, supplemented by a set of the Great Books and, of course, a Bible. As for social development, just join the Knights of Columbus in lieu of a fraternity. |
