I tried a small bottle of this product because my siblings and I can't tolerate the calcium products available on the store shelves. Taking a calcium supplement in the past has caused our joints to hurt. This product completely agrees with me, no discomfort whatsoever. I have osteopenia, so I'm thankful to New Chapter for bringing this product on the market and for the sellers on Amazon for making it available at a more reasonable price.

My grandmother had her thyroid and one of her parathyroids removed. For 4 months she has been in and out of the hospital because they could not get her calcium regulated. It would be too high one week, then would plummet the next. I changed her limescale calcium supplements to the Bone Strength Take Care. Her body is processing these supplements so much better than the rock that is in the standard drug store supplements. There was an immediate difference in they way she felt and she has energy again. She is almost back to her old self!

this is a whole food product, not citrate or coral or any other rock - be sure your calcium is whole food because it is much safer

I was diagnosed with osteopenia about 5 years ago at age 55. My worst T-score was -2.2. I have been having yearly Reclast injections as well as taking New Chapter Bone Strength Take Care 3X a day. My T-scores improved to -1.9 and then to -1.7, so I feel progress has been made with the Reclast and Bone Strength (Reclast works with the calcium taken orally). The main reason that I have used New Chapter Bone Strength is that I have not found any other calcium product that agrees with me. Any limestone-based calcium and the calcium in Multivitamin pills (as well as products such as Boniva) made my digestive system very unpleasant!! It took me a long time to find a product that works and this New Chapter product is it!! It is also about half the price found here compared to retail stores.

I have been using New Chapter Bone Strength for several years and my dexascan shows that my osteopenia is improving. No Fosamax, and coating of your bones.

I was very satisfied with the New Chapter Bone Strength. The bottle I received was larger than what I buy in the store and the same price.. A good product for a good value.

I have used New Chapter Bone Strength Take Care for about two years and it seems to be better than a lot of the other calcium supplements (shown by osteoporosis type testing)

I'm hoping this product is as effective as the pharmaceuticals for strengthing & developing bone. I'll know for sure when I have a bone density test done.

I love the new chapter vitamins. My husband takes the New Chapter Every Man Multivitamins, 120 Count and I take the New Chapter Perfect Prenatal, 192 Count. I like them because you don't have to take them on a full stomach and they don't make you nauseous. We have both noticed a big change in our nails and my hair seems fuller and shinier. We were both taking centrum and I was taking caltrate calcium supplements. I don't think I'll ever use those other brands again. I set us up on the auto shipment so we never run out. Plus the pricing on Amazon can't be beat when compared to stores like Sprouts. Even with the $5 coupons that come in some of the New Chapter boxes, the price at the stores is still way more than on Amazon. Sure, they are more expensive than what you can find at Target but they do not compare to the quality of New Chapter. Try them out and decide for yourself.

I got these because I was hoping that they would be easy to swallow. They are. Unfortunately the dosage though is 3 a day and at that rate it gets a little too expensive to be a viable alternative to mainstream calcium supplements.
