This is much more than just a handsome coffee table book. Although, it does have all those qualifications as well. The photography is exceptionally well done, but so is the prose. Clear, incisive, colourful, and reflective of the innovation and good humour of the firm involved.

I wish there was a different bookstore shelf for books about architecture and books designed to sell architecture. In the latter category you will find this book. Generally you would get an impressive photography of projects by a firm or a living architect. The graphics including plans, sections, details and sketches would be sparse, conversely you will see volume padding by photographing the same projects from multiple angles and including the same projects in different chapters, you get the idea...
