5.0 out of 5 stars Advanced book, but good nevertheless
I've owned this book in the past, and it is a very good book, although it's rather advanced. It's true that the verbal comments are rather sparse and the book has a lot of different variations and sub-variations. However, I should add that after studying this book, I felt like I knew the ideas of the KID better, although I started the book having at least some prior...

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks like a printout from Fritz analysis
I am sorely disappointed by John Nunn. I've read his books on the sicilian and I was happy with how he explained the nuances of that complicated opening. He would explain the strategy behind this plan or why this move was not played anymore.

I was hoping this would be the same thing for this book. I was completely mistaken! This book looks like the...

I think that players rated Class B or A, or higher would be the ones who'd benefit most from studying this book.

I was hoping this would be the same thing for this book. I was completely mistaken! This book looks like the author just selected all the important games from chessbase and did a merge on them! Or like he let Fritz loose free on analysis and copy and pasted the results into this book. The explanations and text are sparse. I DON'T feel like I'm learning anything about the King's Indian!

Btw, this is coming from a 2400 hundred player.
