THE FINEST STUDY ON THE BREED AVAILABLE!
THIS BOOK IS THE FINEST COMPILATION OF INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THIS BREED. IT IS OBVIOUSLY THE RESULT OF YEARS OF RESEARCH MOTIVATED BY A LOVE OF THIS UNIQUE BREED.

Not Overly Impressed
While the book does have some valuable information in it, I feel the author spent far too much time focusing on specific breeders and dogs. It is more of a "Who's Who" in the Lhasa world. Unless you are researching old breeders or lines..I would not recommend this book. I only found 4 out of 20 chapters helpful. A more beneficial book for new Lhasa...

While the book does have some valuable information in it, I feel the author spent far too much time focusing on specific breeders and dogs. It is more of a "Who's Who" in the Lhasa world. Unless you are researching old breeders or lines..I would not recommend this book. I only found 4 out of 20 chapters helpful. A more beneficial book for new Lhasa owners would be Lhasa Lore by Sally Ann Helf (unfortunately out of print), or A New Owner's Guide to Lhasa Apsos by Nancy Plunkett.
