This book by a noted author/exhibitor/judge has lots of
background information on the sheltie, updated from his
original 1974 book. If you are interested in the history
of the sheltie, or love stats, etc. you might enjoy this
book. However, if you are looking for practical information,
save your money for another book.

This is a great reference book for breeders/exhibitors. It is loaded with info and pictures. Definately worth the money for someone serious about shelties

I've found this book to be very comprehensive, it has alot of good information on genetics, colour inheritance, especially the merle gene (which I've been able to do little research on outside this book) I think it's definitely worth the money.
