Dr. Jan Hulsker's 1996 catalogue raisonné of Van Gogh's complete works is a treasure for anyone interested in the life and works of Vincent van Gogh.Jan Hulsker is one of the world's foremost scholars on Vincent van Gogh and this book is the first new catalogue of the complete works to come along in 26 years. The listings are updated and the commentary--as one would expect from Dr. Hulsker--is crisp and insightful. This book is an invaluable part of my Van Gogh library--I honestly couldn't get along without it in my own studies of Van Gogh's art.
