Shamefully,I've only known about this Australian band for a couple of years....when I heard the classic "Eagle Rock".The song stuck in my head.....and on a whim decided to buy this CD.It's probably the most awesome cd I've ever purchased!!Simply perfect musicianship.....this CD seems to want to be played loud---very loud!!

Highly Highly recommended!!!!

Now this band has not made a studio album since the early 70's.Its good they have the original line-up.Love the picture of them in the inner sleeve.Ross Hannaford found his hat,no wonder he is smiling.
The songs i already knew were the 3 live recordings at the end of the cd,and also $64,000 dollar question and The Ballad Of Oz.They released a single in 1994 with those 2 tracks on it.I purchased that then,it had 2 Skyhooks songs on it as well.The proposed tour was shelved probably due to the limited success the single had.Also some songs which appear here were also shelved.
So finally after all those years these songs are out there.Along with 8 new tracks cut in June 2006.
The also recorded The Christmas Bug for a Salvation Army charity Cd in 2005.Which also appears here.
Giving this a few spins you cant give this cd anything but 5 stars.
There is something about this bands sound that has a magic of its own.
I have been a fan of this band since 1982 when Eagle Rock got re-released.
