GREAT BIKE, December 12, 2010
This review is from: New DAHON CURVE SL FOLDING BIKE (Misc.)
i bought this bike for a trip to a south Pacific island. i rejected the Brompton because it was made of steel, while the dahon is made of aluminum. all the bikes on the south Pacific island were rusted, but my curve SL did not rust at all. the brompton folds slightly more compactly, but the curve is nearly as small. In fact i bought a brompton case and the dahon curve fit in it easily, and it went on the airlines as regular luggage. It is really road worthy, despite the small wheels. I didnt need the 9 speeds on the flat island, but will need all the gears in my home in Seattle. If u live in a flat area, save 400 bucks and buy the 3 speed.
