Finally, this classic disco album and the Three Degrees' 3-D album have been released on CD...BMG-Japan. It is wonderful to hear this music again in its entirety. However, the track sequence has been changed from its original flow. Side one of the lp had; 1.Giving Up, Giving In 2. Looking for Love 3. Falling in Love Again. The CD transposes tracks 2 and 3. Though the music stills blends together as a medley, I would have preferred the original track sequence. Disco albums of the day would try to tell a story when the tracks melted into one another. This concept was attempted here: The girls were giving up and giving in, then looking for love, and then find it by falling in love again. Unfortunately, this story does not flow with the track changes. I know this album by heart and the track change immediately came to my attention. This bugs me and I don't understand why the sequence was changed but it wouldn't stop me from buying it. A classic album by a classic group!

This first album of the Three Degrees with Giorgio Moroder was a real surprise in the '80. They were really new dimensions for the Detroit-classic Three Degrees. I like "3-D" even better than this, but the remastered sound is better and clearer than ever, and the presentation, in a careful vinyl-facsimil aspect, is really beautiful. Plus, it was impossible to get on cd before...don't miss it if you like this kind of music.

No singing trio sings in PERFECT HARMONY but the "Three Degrees". It's a puzzle considering they were called the toast of Europe, none of there original albums were reissued onto CD. Thanks to Japan, Three Degrees Fans now have four original LP's on Disc. Japan, please keep up the good work on the ladies...............
