The New Dyer:
Inside the book is the highly touted "Colorcue" which states that it will help you "...analyze over 14,000 different hues." This description is what prompted me to buy the book. I am a dyer with 4 years of experience - I assumed this would only help.

What you get is 4 pieces of Mylar printed with CMYK colors - one one each piece in values from 0%, 10% etc up to 100% in bars across. Supposedly with these tools (which are each about 4" x 8")you should be able to line up a 100% Cyan, 60% Magenta, 20% Yellow and 0% black. The Mylar film is so thin, it nearly tears, and holding all 4 together in the right spot is impossible.

Do not buy the book for this reason. About the rest of the book:
