Good, brief, but dated coverage of New England Shortlines,

A brief look at each of the New England shortline railroads circa 1980. A lot of these railroads are now (1998) gone, so it is now mainly a historical look at New England. The photo reproduction is OK, all in B&W. The text is short, but covers the RRs well. Lots of NE charm and interesting locomotives and paint schemes. A good addition to anyone interested in New England RRs, especially at this low price.
