The book provided outstanding techniques for fishing for stripers. While it is for the New England area, I am sure it would apply anywhere stripers are caught. If you live in the north east it is a must have. About half the book deals with specific fishing areas, down to the rock cover or brdige. Most of these areas I will never fish but the other half of the book will apply to anyone. It is also nice to have in case I do travel to those areas. I have fished for stripers casually for over 20 years and learned a lot about baits, lure selection for different conditions, striper feeding habits, etc. You will spend more on three lures than you will on this book. Invest in the book first, then the lures.
