5.0 out of 5 stars Aspects of religion and grief explored in wonderful poetry!, April 6, 1999

This review is from: New Fields and Other Stones: On a Child's Death (Hardcover)
This book is truly incredible. It reaches into the depths of human grief and sorrow helping anyone who has ever lost someone. Mr. Bennett is a true poetic craftsman and creates an overwhelming sense of empathy with the reader. From "The Commuter" to "The Griefmobile", Bennett takes the reader into the process of dealing with grief, seeing loss for what it is, and moving on into the world of eternal sadness with that hint of hope to carry on. I recommend this book for anyone who has lost someone OR anyone who thinks they never will.
