I used this book as a student in Jamaica, and it has carried me through life. My entire family has used this book. I have 9 other brothers and sisters plus my parents, and we all grew up on this book like many other Jamaicans and English students.In Jamaica, the standard of education is very high, and English is broken down to the last letter unlike in the USA. No one in my family has ever failed English or gotten anything less than an A in English. In college I received 113% for English composition and 103% for English comprehension. This book is easy to follow, and will equip you to speak proper English and to become impressively eloquent to others. If you practice to speak proper English, writing proper English will become a natural thing to do, and you can wrack up the A's. It is the foundation of the English language, and everyone who is interested in presenting themselves to others in this like manner, should try to get a hold of this book. Your life will never be the same I can guarantee this.
