Outstanding songs and talent!, July 15, 2003

I think this band was one of the "tightest" I've ever heard in my 26 years of music experience.
Mike's (lead singer/guitarist) song-writing is simply amazing and poignant. His lyrics are not forced...they flow from his heart. I truly enjoy the way that the lyrics intertwine with the melodic lines of this trio's sound. The songs are simply great!
I happen to know each one of the band members personally and I'll say that "ego" was NOT a word that you could label them with. The songs they wrote, the way that they performed...from Mike's clean "crunch" lead guitar riffs and Bono-esque vocals, to Tony's "popping" bass sounds, to Jason's rock-solid rhythm...
it was all about sharing music and writing from the heart and through experience.
This CD captures some of that and I think you'll understand once you give it a listen.
