The Price of Gold Is Rising!,

The Fort Knox Family really outdid themselves this time! What a great compilation.DC does it again! I really like the ragga-psychodelic funk of Nappy Riddem's "Rastar" with its driving baselines and srceaming guitar solos. "Sitargazer" from International Velvet is another standout. A Deep base groove topped with etherial sitar. You can't skip over the Fort Knox Five contributions. "Shift" and "Bhangra Punch" are sure to put that swivel in your hips. Though this is a compilation, it plays like an album in the old shool traditional sense. Each song flows effortlessly into the next, taking the listener on a cenimatic journey. The compilation closes out with the emotional "One World Sovereignty" by Nappy Riddem. With the soulful vocal of Mustafa Akbar, Asheru's conscious lyrics, and a unique reggae skank set over a hiphop backbeat, this song will inspire the freedom fighter in you. Respect Guys! What's next?

This album blew me away. The talent and diversity is extremely impressive. I'll highlight 9 of the songs, but each one is amazing! "What Make Ya Dance" will surely make ya dance! Funky beats, great vocals, and the sitar thrown in takes this song to a whole other level of cool! "Rastar" has some serious funk and is so groovy. Dig that heavy bass! "The Sax Pusher" is incredible with its amazing sax solo that keeps getting better and better just as you think you've already heard the best part. Pay attention to the awesome beats behind it, too! "Sabor Tropical" has great energy with the congas, vocals, and horns. "Sitargazer" is dreamy with its stellar sitar work and will definitely leave you gazing. "Homegrown" is a real winner - the hard rock sound and energy is captivating. "Number One Fan" is so slick with its cool vocals and guitar riff. "Marshmeadows" will transport you to a calm and peaceful place. Really love it! "One World Sovereignty" has a great message. The vocals, sax, and guitar are all awesome! In short, BUY THIS ALBUM! You will not regret it.
