From Library Journal
Real estate developer Turk's much-needed book differs from most real estate books by concentrating on buying homes being built in real estate developments as opposed to existing homes. Turk covers the whole process, from looking for homes to financing the purchase and moving in. He also provides insight on dealing with builders and their agents and includes lists of questions one should ask when looking at developments. Turk does a thorough job of explaining the types of lots and houses used in developments and includes good diagrams and drawings. The longest chapter in the book completely breaks down a real estate contract step by step. Essential reading for anyone who wants to buy a new home from a developer; recommended for public libraries.
